After several years of experience working as a DJ for another company, I, Sydney Swetich, decided to go out on my own as a professional wedding DJ. When you choose to work with Master Mixin' Entertainment, you are choosing to work with the owner of a company who is not only passionate about music, but her craft as a WEDDING DJ. Different than a club or bar DJ - it takes a specific set of skills and personality to successfully create the experience a Bride and Groom are looking to give their guests! It's not just playing dance music to pump up a crowd, it's knowing when to play the right song at the right time. An effective DJ is in-tune with the attendees, can read the crowd, and knows how to make sure guests of all ages and tastes will enjoy themselves.
A large part of the DJ's responsibility is to be able to MC and keep the night running smoothly. Over the years I've found my niche in weddings and honed my skills to craft the perfect event for you! I will effectively coordinate with all of your vendors, including photographers, videographers, and, most importantly, venue contacts. At the end of the day, not every DJ is prepared to handle these responsibilities, but I pride myself on being able to manage these background tasks with professionalism so you don't have to worry about them! You will experience this from the first time we meet to the last song played!.

Making your experience easy and fun is very important to me! Not only will I be your DJ, but I can (and should) be used as a consultant. I've seen a wide range of wedding events and can guide you towards what works and what doesn't. So here's what you can expect when you choose to work with me:

About 3 months before your event I will check in with you. At this time we will set up a final meeting for a week before the wedding so we can sit down and go over the entire night to ensure we are all on the same page and to allow me to prepare properly for your big day. I do ask that you have that super handy packet filled out and emailed to me no later than 7 days before our final meeting. That way I can go through what you have so our final meeting doesn't take up a lot of your time. You will be busy the week before your wedding! If there are things you need help with, like picking songs - no problem! That's what this final meeting is for! We are going to nail down all the details and make sure your night runs smoothly! Just keep in mind that the more detail you provide, the smoother the final meeting will be.
